About Our Custom Pressure Vessel Systems

Pressure testing is integral for many applications that are used in extreme environments. These include all undersea applications. BEPeterson designs and builds pressure test systems so our customers’ products meet these rigorous demands. A pressure test works by delivering pressure higher than the anticipated working pressure. Passing the pressure test ensures the tested products maintain their integrity and operate as expected under these extreme service conditions. Any failures in the tested components will be revealed, allowing engineers to correct these issues before the components are used in the field.

BEPeterson completes hydrostatic testing for pressure vessels to assess component integrity, calibration, flow, leaks and burst. Our engineers will complete the pressure test using water at the maximum allowable working pressure. These tests comply with American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code VIII requirements for reliable results and testing procedures.
