ASME Tanks
ASME Tanks
ASME tanks are vessels constructed in accordance with standard pressure vessel codes that ensure the safe storage and transport of liquids and gases under pressure. BEPeterson holds the ASME single certification mark for safety and quality, plus a certificate of authorization in ASME tank fabrication. We design and fabricate vessels following the ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code requirements.
At BEPeterson, we provide complete ASME tank design and engineering solutions for code and non-code tank fabrication. Our 90,000-square-foot manufacturing facility is ASME U, UM, R, S and TUV-certified. We can also provide CRN registration and CE/PED certification upon request.
Custom ASME Tanks
ASME-code tanks require regulatory compliance with local and international standards. Our custom ASME tanks are designed and precision-engineered in accordance with these guidelines.
Design
BEPeterson has a team of engineers and project managers ready to guide our customers through our metal fabrication process. This includes initial engineering, layout design, fabrication and final testing. All tanks produced from our facility undergo strict quality standards based on the ASME protocol.
On top of design and manufacturing, we also conduct material testing for our ASME tanks. This allows us to provide our customers with material test certification and ASME forms with each product. As an ISO 9001:2015-certified manufacturer, we take pride in our approach to quality management and consistent delivery of products that meet regulatory requirements.
Engineering
Every ASME tank project gets assigned to a dedicated project engineer who oversees the entire process. The engineer reviews and ensures adherence to all required codes and specifications and facilitates testing on all metal fabrication products. Some of our inspection capabilities include:
- Hydrostatic testing
- Ferrite testing
- Impact testing
- Helium leak testing
- Radiography
- Positive material identification
- Nondestructive evaluation — penetrant testing, magnetic particle testing, ultrasonic testing
- Dimensional — fero arm
