Projects We Have Worked On

Below are two projects that illustrate the scope of CRN work we deliver:

Jacketed Mixing Vessel for an Industrial Facility

Our client required a large-volume jacketed pressure vessel for a mixing application, with CRN certification needed for pressure vessel installation in Ontario. The specifications included:

  • Dimensions: 84″ OD x 87″ T/T
  • Material: 316L stainless steel
  • Design pressure: 100 psi @ 275° Fahrenheit (external)
  • Jacket: 1/2″ pipe jacket coil on bottom and OD

We fabricated and ASME stamped the vessel, installed the helical mixer blade prior to shipment and obtained CRN certification through the Technical Standards and Safety Authority (TSSA) for installation in Ontario.

Dust Removal Filter Vessel and Accumulator for an R&D Facility

A research and development facility in Ottawa needed two CRN-registered pressure vessels to support a dust removal system operating at high pressure and temperature. The project required two distinct vessel types with these specifications:

Filter vessel

  • Dimensions: 20″ OD x 190.75″ OAL
  • Material: 2205 Duplex
  • Design pressure: 291 psi + FV @ 600° Fahrenheit 

Accumulator

  • Dimensions: 18″ OD x 40″ T/T
  • Material: 304/304L SS
  • Design pressure: 436 psi + FV @ 600° Fahrenheit 

We fabricated both vessels to ASME Section VIII standards and coordinated CRN registration through the TSSA in Ontario. Each unit was delivered with a complete documentation package ready for installation.

How Do You Handle Shipping to Canada?

We coordinate shipment of completed vessels from our facility across the border into Canada. Oversized loads require permitted transportation, and we work with experienced heavy-haul carriers to plan routing and delivery.
